Bill Walsh

Bill Walsh was a great coach, any NFL fan knows that, as well as some non-nfl fans. Bill Walsh died from leukemia, The same that took his son from the Walsh family just a few years ago. For me Bill was a difficult coach to admire fully, as I am a huge Viking fan. But when the 49ers were not playing the Vikes he was like watching a magic show, he seemed to have his players ready to play when they needed to play. In the 1980's he had the players ready to play all of the time. Bill was missed after he left the team to George Seifort, but after he returned it was apparent that he should probably not have come back to mentor or whatever it was that he did. I admired him and his coaching.

Google and Google reader

ok, so it worked for about 20 minutes or so yesterday, but this morning it is still not working. For a company as big as google you would think there would be no outage this long. GMail works, Google groups works, Google, reader, calendar, and Documents do not work. other sites seem to work just fine.

What is up with Google, I have been having issues with Google.com and Google reader for a few hours. I though it was a DNS issue, but the reader is not working even with ip addresses only.

CCIE Ver 3

I just took the CCIE written and it was tough, I missed by 2 questions, I only scored a 39% on the QOS and was low on only IP routing and WAN. I thought I was ready when I took the test, I now need to work a bit more on a couple of those areas. Fortunately for me work has enrolled me in a QOS class. Unfortunately for me it is only a two day web cast class, other were able to attend the full week class and has reported back that it was great but too short to cover all it needed to. I would have been in the full week class had I not gotten selected for the CCIE bootcamp (written only). Lightlearn put on the class and it was well done, our instructor was Noel, and he really seems to know his stuff, and he knows the test. There was more than one time that he stressed a point in class and the concept was covered in the test. Know your OSPF, BGP, QOS, routing decisions. sandisk sansa m240 froze

ok, so now the SanDisk sansa m240 1GB mp3 player, when you turn it on, it freezes. I have tried to change the battery and everything and it still wont work. What is happening here? others that have had the same problem. I researched this online and found out that there was a rather large bad batch of these mp3 players shipped in December. they suggest calling sandisk tech support at 1-866-726-3475 for a replacement and getting a RMA number or going back to where you bought it and exchanging it.
