Yea, neither did I this was perhaps the most anticipated game in the last 20 years and the NFL Network ruined it for more football fans. Well I say screw them. Once again they have proven the only play for the almighty $, what a bunch of big jerks. Personally I have lost most of my interest in the NFL as a whole do to the selfishness that they have presented in the last 10-20 years. I think we are due for a Strike or Lockout that will cancel the Super Bowl in the upcoming years. The NFL is the only league that has the stupid blackout rule, so they hold the home town hostage while they overcharge ($75 or more usually) for one of the most uncomfortable chairs in the world. Once you are there you are treated to a game that is filled with unnecessary stoppage in play. TV Timeouts, Reviews of instant replays due to the fact that the NFL won't hire a full time officiating crew, so they make more the average number of mistakes and doing so they know that they have an out, they have a repl...

It is now time for the Christmas lights to be hung with care. For the most part I really don't care for it. Most of the time they do not work more then one or two years. I have found storing the lights is most important in keeping them safe. I tried to put them back into those crappy plastic holders, that just wasted time and kept me from being relaxed!! I also tried to wrap them around a flat long board, like a small piece of paneling. That kept the wiring from getting tangled to a point. But the Lights still got banged around a bit and some broke, still others just died like any other year. The last few years now I have found these small Boxes about the size of a very large Dictionary or Phone book from a big city. then would home 2-3 lines of lights, I carefully placed then in the box and closed it up for the year. I think this year was one of my best for low # of issues. I am still looking for an effeciate way to test and repair these things, plug and go just doesn't cut it...

I have finally gotten back into the games I have. I played a Blitz game the other morning and found my self in a trap very early on. What bothers me about this is that I used my normal opening the Sicilian Dragon. I must not have paid attention, and next thing I knew was the opponents Queen was down tearing apart my Castle side, and I saw no easy way to remove it. The server does not log the Blitz games so I have no way to go back and figure out what really happend

Jeremiah Wants to be the top search result for Jeremiah, its called a vanity search. Todd also does regular vanity searches. I don't totally understand this kind of thought, but I do enjoy Jeremiah's blog and Todd's Podcast so I thought I would add these to help pump there numbers. Obviously with a blog like readthis1st, I am unable to do a vanity search for my name. which is the way that I prefer it! I did do a search for readthis1st and I got tired of pushing the next button. I find it interesting when I need to search for someone or there blog, when I enter there name in Firefox google quick search, who many letters do I need to enter to get the name I want. For example if you put in chris p and then chris pi and then chris pir you finally get chris pirillo . Well, I hope to write more frequently in December, November has been busy with hockey starting now, (BTW my guy scored 2 goals in a 4-4 tie, he scored the fourth goal to put his team ahead) I am so proud of him.

My Daughter was recently in the high school production of Wizard of Oz. She had a small part, one of the munchins. She led one of the dances and she was wonderful. I really loved watching it, which I thought I would rather dread, but they did a really good job.
