Meet Nolan

Image
Nolan is very special. He is very athletic and can wear me out fast. My wife and I have decided that we will help support him this year. Last year we got to play some baseball together and he is quite the hitter. If you feel led to help assist Nolan or any of the other children at the Greenfield Children's home please click on the link(Meet Nolan) (the title of this blog post) You can navigate around from there. Nolan has a sister Shenice and she is at the home also.

Gone Fishing

Dave returning with the boys from a fishing trip, David and Ricky live at the Greenfield Children's home. All these boys like most any boys their age like to have fun. They play soccer and some baseball. I am really starting to miss them, I can't wait to get back. If you want to help these guys out, why not donate , if you skip just a cup a coffee a week you can make a huge difference in the life of a child.

Curby is ready to help

Image
This guy was great the first year I was in Roatan. His name is Curby and he likes to help out. He made a great assistant and was always ready for anything we needed. This year, Curby was not living at the home any longer. I am not going to get into the story, as I only know second hand and it may be rumor. However I did hear that he has a possibility of getting a visa to go and study in the United States. I pray that works out for him. Tom and I fell in love with this guy last year, I was looking forward to seeing him. I will keep you in my prayers Curby. If you want to help children like this why not donate to them, every little bit helps.

These Children need YOUR help.

Only you can help. I can tell you that these kids need support. They don't need American items or gifts, they need clothing, food, school supplies, and tuition. The cost of supporting each child is something that we can do together. The cost may be more then any ONE of us may be able handle, but together we can change a life. We can provide some food, a pair of shoes, a shirt, some pants. You might think you have no extra money to part with, but really what does that mean? If I can skip a cup of coffee each week, or skip a lunch each week, I can give that money to these kids. They need it, they deserve it. For me these are not just children on a TV commercial late at night, they are part of my family. I love them just as my own kids.
