Christmas Lights

It is now time for the Christmas lights to be hung with care. For the most part I really don't care for it. Most of the time they do not work more then one or two years. I have found storing the lights is most important in keeping them safe. I tried to put them back into those crappy plastic holders, that just wasted time and kept me from being relaxed!! I also tried to wrap them around a flat long board, like a small piece of paneling. That kept the wiring from getting tangled to a point. But the Lights still got banged around a bit and some broke, still others just died like any other year.

The last few years now I have found these small Boxes about the size of a very large Dictionary or Phone book from a big city. then would home 2-3 lines of lights, I carefully placed then in the box and closed it up for the year. I think this year was one of my best for low # of issues.

I am still looking for an effeciate way to test and repair these things, plug and go just doesn't cut it now that I am older. :)
