Did you see that Game last night, WOW what an awesome game Cowboys crush the Packers
Yea, neither did I this was perhaps the most anticipated game in the last 20 years and the NFL Network ruined it for more football fans. Well I say screw them. Once again they have proven the only play for the almighty $, what a bunch of big jerks.
Personally I have lost most of my interest in the NFL as a whole do to the selfishness that they have presented in the last 10-20 years. I think we are due for a Strike or Lockout that will cancel the Super Bowl in the upcoming years.
The NFL is the only league that has the stupid blackout rule, so they hold the home town hostage while they overcharge ($75 or more usually) for one of the most uncomfortable chairs in the world.
Once you are there you are treated to a game that is filled with unnecessary stoppage in play. TV Timeouts, Reviews of instant replays due to the fact that the NFL won't hire a full time officiating crew, so they make more the average number of mistakes and doing so they know that they have an out, they have a replay booth. If someone other then them thinks it is wrong, that someone can ask them to look at the tape of the play. When at the same time if an other official sees the play differently they may discuss it and come up with a call that is sure to screw one team verses the other!!! Why can they not call for a review on their own cogness?
The half time show is about the only thing that is what I would call relatively entertaining, and that is only for the local folks, perhaps someone that they know.
Most games are a blow out or a mistake filled mess. Last nights game was both, the Cowboys blow out the Packers. The best thing that happened to the Packers was Brett Favre getting hurt. He was the mistake laden boy I watch back in the day...1993 I think he led the league in INT thrown. I would think that he will play next week, he has ten days to recover. I was fortunate enough to be able to listen to the game in my market.
Al Harris, what is wrong with this guy. He trash talks a good game and then TO was running around like no one was covering him. Al seemed alright in the 1st QT when they did not move TO, but once they started to move him, TO took off. Did the cowboys have to punt last night but just one time when they felt sorry for the Packers and the sieve defense. I cannot believe that is the best this defense could do? I know that they are down two D players.
Well, I really have run out of time. I would love to bash the NFL some more and the NFL Network, I really think that they have lost touch with the fans. They need to KEEP the 20 somethings interested and get the younger kids fully sucked into football so that they want to spend the money when they have it on the games and merchandise. Instead I see them trying to suck all the money out of the baby boomers!!! good luck with that long term plan.
