This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. When I was just a little kid, the only thing that I wanted to eat was hot dogs, nothing else. I rejected so many other foods, and I distinctly recall one time when it got so bad that I ran off to my room, and my Dad came waving a raw hot dog at me so that I would come back to the dinner table. Man things have changed since then. I now reject hot dogs on a regular basis, guess that I have had my fill of them. And so many of the foods that I once rejected are now my favorites. Think of all the things in our life that we missed out on because we rejected them, and how we later tried them out and found that they somehow changed the way we felt about them. Jesus is the same way! I know so many people that once rejected him and now the life they have has changed in such a great way.
