Friday,
This was the last day of work before we leave and return to our cozy home in the frozen tundra. We had a lot of small project to finish up with to be ready for our big party! We ran electrical to the outside of the new building so that we could light up the parking area to have the Hot Dog roast in that area. The large field is full of this reddish sand that when it gets on your pants, it does not come off really easy.
I discovered this by accident, however it was already known by the experienced group members. I discovered that my towel or wash rag was red every morning. (At least on one occasion I thought it was my bites bleeding).
The Upstairs of the new building needed to be cleaned up. We worked hard and got a great show put on for all of the guests.
I personally handed out about 80-110 hot dogs with mayo on them, apparently that is well liked down here.

Shoes were given out, and in a much orderly fashion I must say. If you put out free stuff in front of my kids and their friends there would be a mad scramble and perhaps some scraps and scruffs.

Not looking forward to going home. I really enjoyed my time down here and would love to stay longer. Dan is going to stay. so keep him in your prayers.

Love you all,
