Fantasy Football Draft help

Its Fantasy football time, and I wanted to get my 2 cents out there. Some Draft Strategy for you and your draft. Whether you like Cedric Benson as your number one Running back or not. (If you do, you must be playing in a very large league!! I will write in the next couple of hours, days my Overtop list, top Running Backs, Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Tight ends, Kickers and Defensive units. So you have Pick number 3, it seems that all the so-called Fantasy football experts have said that pick #3 is a disaster. They will also tell you your first two picks should be RB, RB. Well I am here to tell you that there is more to it then just that. Draft day Strategy: be Flexible, be prepared, know your opponents, know your opponents needs, don't discount a good player due personal reasons (IE he is a bad person, he lost your Super Fantasy Bowl for you last year). Be Flexible, as the draft goes, things will change fast from what you planned and prepared for. have back up plans, be prepared ...

Job Satisfaction

Job Satisfaction is something that so many of us strive for in life. I have had many jobs over the last (many) years. In every one, with the exception of one, I have found a high level of satisfaction. Even as I continue to write this I am not sure which Job that one really was. Job Satisfaction is more a matter of mind over matter, or making the best of it. If you have prepared your self to get into a career, IE education, a bit of luck, experience and such. You sometimes need to make the best of the situation, you sometimes need to realize that perhaps things are not as bad on you may think. I work with several individuals that do not know Job Satisfaction. Player "A" has worked this job long before I joined the group. They feel as though the job has passed them by, they try, but I am not sure how hard they try, and still have trouble keeping up. My lead continually prods me to assist player "A". I have, at times gotten frustrated with this. As you may have dedu...

Music

Mahalo.com points out a site I was not aware of, but I kinda like it. Hype machine . What you can do, is to search for your favorite song or artist, and if it is out there on a blog, you can get an RSS feed and play them. I think this is a great thing, as you can really give a listen to some older music before you decide to find it and buy it. I use it like a radio, I listen to couple new songs and then move on.

Bridge Collapse

Ok, so at work there were two of my fellow coworkers that were on the bridge when it collapsed. One is a dear sweet lady that I truly enjoy talking to about many things, including the bible and Jesus. They are both OK, in the hospital and in good spirits. My prayers are with them and the many others involved and the families of those who simply don't know about the facts involving their missing loved ones. I can really not think of how hard it must be for people to deal with the missing, much like 9/11 they may continue to hang on to hope that they will find a way to make it back home. I would image many persons just spending much time looking out the window at the drive way, hopeing and waiting. Every time the phone rings or the door bell rings your gut would get in a knot thinking that this is the time, some one knows something. Well the good news is that Jesus knows and he is where you can find comfort, stop reading this now and pray to him.

Bridge Collapse

For those of you that know me, as if anyone actually reads this, I am ok and was not involved in the I-35W bridge collapse. I was out moving my vehicle just after the and Minneapolis was like some kind of war zone, as sirens and fire trucks rushing by, people running and walking all over. I hope that all of my co-workers are ok

Sansa Express

Ok, I gave up on the Sandisk Sansa M240 and bought the Sansa express, for less money then what I paid for the M240. It is smaller (physically) sleek and nice. I like the rechargeable battery, hopefully I can replaced it my self, cause I hate that crap. They made some small improvements, you can build a play list called a go-list right on the device. It is rather difficult to view the screen in bright light. You also can set the brightness, but for some reason myne continues to go back to default after some charge sessions. Also you don't want to be dropping this thing, it is quite fragile, my Volume switches broke off of the circuit board, and I have had to solder them back on. This was quite frustrating while it was broken as the unit would return to default settings once in a while, and then I could not hear anything on my I-TRIP.

Too Old to pitch

ok, I pitch for my softball teams, for many years. I would generally walk only one or two batters at most. I could generally hit with good accuracy the corners of the strike zone. I only recall just one time that I was desperate to just through a strike. That was a playoff game in which we had played a few games prior. After that game I felt so horrible, I really for the first time felt, the pressure of letting down my teammates while on the mound. Well last year I started playing again after taking a couple of years off to watch the kids. The team has a pitcher so I was cool with that. I played 2nd base mostly, when I don't pitch. With this team, I played Third base, First base and catcher. The pitcher is about 60 years old, I really could not believe that he was playing, but he is a good pitcher just a bit slow around the bases. When this year started Tom, the pitcher decided that it was time to get me into the games. I got to pitch half games with him ( I did pitch a few games l...
